Kathmandu. The government has appointed Govinda Bahadur Karki as the Chief Secretary.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday decided to appoint Karki to the post of Chief Secretary. Prior to this, Karki was the secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
According to government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel, the cabinet has appointed Suraj Shakya as the development commissioner of the Kathmandu Valley Development Authority.
Likewise, the government has given approval to operate Geta Hospital, Kailali, as the teaching hospital of Shahid Dasharath Chand University of Health Sciences. The government has endorsed the Foreign Educational Program Operation and Regulation Regulations, 2083 BS, Pokharel said.
