Kathmandu. The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has directed the CDSC to submit a report after conducting necessary study on the implementation of the auto-EDIS system in share trading.
Issuing a circular today, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has issued a 5-point directive to the CDSC. The directive has been issued in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 84 (1) of the Securities Act, 2063 for the purpose of regulating and monitoring the securities market and securities business transactions in order to make the securities trading strong, effective and credible.
Here are the instructions
- To study and submit the necessary legal and structural reforms for the implementation of the auto EDIS system by API integration between the Transaction Management System and My Share.
- Effective implementation of the provision of providing money to the customer during the T-plus 2 period of securities transactions.
- } To ensure that the DP holdings displayed in NEPSE TMS are automatically reconciled with the actual holdings of CDSC and My Shares as per the BOID, and automatically update the numbers, DP details and post-corporate holdings including bonuses, rights shares, transfers and other post-corporate holdings and develop a real-time settlement status dashboard of the transactions through the My Share System.
- To conduct necessary study and submit a report with suggestions to resolve the complaints received from the investors regarding the frex shares.
The CDSC will make arrangements to send immediate information to the investors regarding IPO issuance alerts, IPO applications, bonus and right share issuance, dividend distribution, settlement, demat debit, and lockin under push notification.TAG_OPEN_li_15
