Kathmandu. Butwal Power Company has called its 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on Thursday decided to hold the AGM on January 12. The meeting will begin at 2:00 pm at Karki Banquet in Babarmahal, Kathmandu.
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The meeting will approve a cash dividend of 6 percent of the current paid-up capital proposed to be distributed for the current fiscal year. The meeting will also approve the annual report and the auditor’s report for the said fiscal year.
The same assembly elected the current fiscal year 2082. 83. Approve the proposal relating to the appointment of the auditor and the determination of his/her remuneration. The meeting will also approve the financial assistance amount of Rs 987,200 provided to various organizations and individuals.
The company has decided to close the book from January 28 to January 28 for the purpose of dividend and meeting. This means that only the shareholders who have been in the company before January 30 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting.
