Kathmandu. The stock market rose by single digits on Tuesday. The NEPSE index rose 9.24 points to close at 2,522.66.
On the rise in the market, 12 groups in the NEPSE sub-group increased while one group decreased. The hydropower group increased by 1.01 percent on the day, while the production and processing group decreased by 1 percent.
The share prices of 181 companies increased in the market today, while 84 companies declined. The share prices of 12 companies remained stable on this day.
Today, the market has been traded at Rs 2.90 billion. Solu Hydropower has the highest turnover.
