Kathmandu. Nepal Youth Entrepreneurs Forum, Jhapa Chapter organized a special program on investment, capital mobilization and capital market in Birtamode.

More than 40 young entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and members participated in the program led by Mijas Pokharel, President of Nepal Youth Entrepreneurs Forum, Jhapa Chapter. The program was attended by Sun Securities Pvt. Ltd. Krishna Giri, Chairman of Broker No. 64 and Rivai Astitva Sharma of Gyashsh Nchayagau gave presentations on investment, capital mobilization, capital market and risk management.

On the occasion, Krishna Giri, Chairman of Sun Securities (Broker No. 64), spoke about the things to be considered while investing through Private Equity, Venture and Investment Company. He said that it is necessary to evaluate the business potential, financial condition, management, growth potential and potential risk before investing in a company. He also highlighted the ways to raise capital through loans and self-capital of small and medium companies, the process to be completed before issuing IPOs and the importance of placement of promoter shares.

Similarly, Astitva Sharma, CEO of Subiz Group, gave a presentation focused on the secondary market and share trading. He stressed on the need to study the basic aspects of the company’s financial statements, income, profit, business condition, management and future growth prospects while investing in the stock market. He also spoke about how to link technical analysis, study of market trends and price movements to investment decisions and manage potential risks effectively.

The participants of the program put various questions to the speakers related to IPOs, secondary markets, company valuation, investment and risk management. The interaction and Q&A session made the event more practical and participant-friendly, according to the organizers.

The event, organized with the objective of enhancing financial knowledge, investment awareness and business decision making capacity among young entrepreneurs, provided an opportunity to the participants to gain practical knowledge on investment and capital management.

Nepal Youth Entrepreneurs’ Forum, Jhapa Chapter said it would continue such knowledge-oriented and vocational programs in the days to come with the objective of enhancing the knowledge, skills and capacity of young entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs.
