Kathmandu. Liberty Micro Life Insurance has appointed its CEO after one months. Digvijay Singhal, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company, has been appointed as the acting CEO of the company.
The board of directors of the company held on Tuesday appointed Singhal as the acting CEO for a period of three months.
Liberty Micro has been without its CEO since June 11 after the then CEO of Himalayan Life Insurance and Himalayan Reinsurance was suspended following a scandal involving promoter affiliates of Himalayan Life Insurance and Himalayan Reinsurance.
