Kathmandu. Sun Securities (Broker No. 64) and Ace Finance Club have jointly organized a two-day ‘Stock Market Workshop’ on June 22 with an objective of enhancing knowledge and financial literacy related to the capital market of Nepal. The event was organized at Ace Institute of Management, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
About 60 students of Ace Finance Club enthusiastically participated in the program. Executive Chairman of Sun Securities Mr. Krishna Giri, Mr. Bibek Adhikari and Mr. Deepak Raj Panta imparted training in the workshop.
On the first day of the program, Giri and Panta imparted training on introduction to financial and capital markets of Nepal, basic concepts of investment and technical analysis. Participants were provided with insightful information on market trends, chart analysis and use of technical indicators.
On the second day, Giri and Adhikari imparted extensive training on business model analysis, company valuation, case study and basic analysis. In addition, various financial games were also conducted to make the participants’ activism and learning more effective.
According to the organizers, the participation, curiosity and interaction of the students on both days was very encouraging and positive. The program is expected to contribute significantly to help the participants gain practical knowledge on capital markets, investment analysis and long-term financial decisions.
As a special attraction of the program, Sun Securities announced that it would provide free Demat and TMS account to the participating students and their family members.
Sun Securities pledges to continue such educational and public awareness programs to spread financial literacy and knowledge related to capital markets among the youth.
