Kathmandu. The stock market rose by the highest point on Sunday, the first trading day of the week. NEPSE index increased by 54.51 points to close at 2931.55.
A total of 12 sub-groups in the NEPSE sub-group have increased while one has fallen. The microfinance group was the top gainer on the day, while the trading group fell by 0.11 per cent.
Shares of 183 companies have increased while the price of 73 companies has fallen. Shares of 8 companies are stable on this day.
The market was traded worth more than Rs 23.5 billion today. Kumari Bank has made the most transactions.
