Kathmandu. The stock market rose marginally on Wednesday. On the day, the NEPSE index increased by 5.70 points to close at 2625.70.
With the rise in the market, 10 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group have increased while three have fallen. The finance group was the top gainer on the day, while the hotel and tourism group fell the most by 0.37 percent.
Shares of 143 companies rose and 104 declined. Shares of 11 companies remained stable on the day.
The market has crossed Rs 4 billion today. The highest turnover was made by Union Hydropower.
