CIT earns Rs. 100 in three months Rs 31.43 crore, about 55% investment in fixed deposits of the bank

Kathmandu. Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) for the current fiscal year 2082. The company has published its unrevised financial statements for the first quarter (July-September) of 2018.

In the first three months of the current FY, the EPF has earned a net profit of Rs. 31.43 crores. Last year, 2081. In the first three months of the current fiscal year, the fund had earned a net profit of Rs 300.9 crore. The net profit increased by 4.43 percent in the review year compared to the previous year.

The fund’s interest income decreased by 18.87 percent to Rs 97.2 million in the review period compared to the previous year. The fund had posted a net profit of Rs 11.98 crore in the same period last year.

The EPF has earned Rs 427.4 million as service charge and commission till mid-September of the current fiscal year. Such income was Rs 39.16 crore in the previous year. In the review year, the income of the fund from service charge and commission has increased by 9.13 percent.

The paid-up capital of the fund increased by 0.77 percent to Rs 319.15 billion from Rs 6.48 billion. In the previous fiscal year, the fund had amounted to Rs 301.93 billion.

The total investment of the fund stood at Rs 295.83 billion in the review period. The total investment of the fund was Rs 250.99 billion in the same period of the previous year. The fund’s investment has increased by 17.86 percent in a year.

During the review period, the Fund has invested Rs 162.54 billion in fixed deposits of banks. In the previous year, the fund had collected Rs 137.53 billion in fixed deposits of banks. Compared to the previous year, the share of fixed deposits in the bank fixed deposits increased by 18.19 percent and the share of fixed deposits in the total investment was around 55 percent.

The fund’s annualized earnings per share (EPS) for the review period decreased marginally to Rs 19.40. The EPS was Rs. 19.87 in the previous year. The net worth per share of the fund is Rs 169.08 with a return on investment of 4.81 percent.
