Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower on the last day of the week. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 0.31 points to close at 2,544 points. Today, the share prices of 123 companies have increased while the prices of 124 companies have fallen.
Shares worth Rs 3.49 billion were traded on the day after 7,605,584 units of shares of 329 companies were traded. Shares of Himalayan Power Partners were traded the most today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 16.80 crore were traded. Shares of Himalayan Distillery worth Rs 13.91 crore were traded. Shares of Union Hydropower worth Rs 13.30 crore were traded.
Today, the investors of Mabilung Energy and Shwat Ganga Hydropower have earned the most money. Today, investors of these two companies have gained 10 percent. Investors of Sagar Distillery and Bungal Hydro earned 9.99 per cent each.
Today, the investors of Nepal Micro Insurance Company have lost the most. Investors in the company lost 4 percent today.
