Kathmandu. Out of 15 development banks listed in NEPSE, four development banks have proposed dividend for the fiscal year 81/82. Muktinath Bikas Bank, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank, Garima Bikas Bank and Miteri Development Bank have proposed dividend on the company.
Book closure of two development banks :

Out of the 4 development banks that have declared dividends, the book closure of two development banks has been completed. The book closure date of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank and Muktinath Bikas Bank has ended. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank had closed its book on September 24 and only the shareholders who remained in the bank till September 23 have received the dividend. Kamana Sewa has also held its general meeting. The company held its AGM on October 24. The AGM approved 10% Bonus Shares and 5.79% Cash Dividend.
Similarly, Muktinath Bikas Bank has also closed its book. The company closed the book on October 31. Based on the book close, only the shareholders who have been appointed as of October 30 have received the dividend of the company. The AGM of the company is yet to be held. The company is holding its annual general meeting on October 15. The company is proposing 13.53 percent bonus share and 4.67 percent cash dividend in the AGM.
Two development banks that are yet to close the book:
There are two remaining companies that have closed the book by offering dividends. Although Garima Bikas Bank has fixed the date for the AGM and book close, the date of book close is yet to come. The bank is closing its book on November 1 for the AGM to be held on November 12. Based on the book close, the shareholders who have remained in the company till November 30 will receive the dividend. The AGM is offering 6 percent bonus shares and 4.53 percent cash dividend.
Similarly, Miteri Development Bank has proposed a 10 percent cash dividend.
