Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Thursday. The NEPSE index rose by 11.93 points to close at 2,624.36.
As the market rose, 11 groups in the NEPSE sub-group increased while two declined. Today, the life insurance group increased by 1.08 percent and the investment group decreased by 0.18 percent.
Today, the share prices of 177 companies have increased in the market while 85 have fallen. The share prices of 16 companies have remained stable on this day.
Today, the market has been traded at Rs 5.49 billion. Siddhartha Bank has the highest turnover.
