KATHMANDU: The stock market rose sharply on Tuesday. A day after the Ministry of Finance unveiled a 21-point action plan for capital market reforms, the NEPSE index rose 48.57 points to close at 2,633.62.
With the rise in the market, all the 13 groups in the NEPSE sub-group have turned green. The non-life insurance group has increased by 2.82 percent on the day.
Today, the share price of 265 companies has increased in the market and 12 have fallen. On this day, the stock market of one company is stable.
On this day, the market has been traded more than Rs 8.28 billion. Reliance Spinning Mills has the highest turnover today.
