Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Monday. The NEPSE index closed 16.47 points lower at 2613.33 points.
Due to the decline in the market, 12 groups in the NEPSE sub-group decreased while one group increased. Today, the trading group increased by 0.23 percent while the non-life insurance group saw the maximum decline of 1.20 percent.
Today, the share prices of 50 companies have increased in the market while 223 companies have fallen. The share prices of 6 companies have remained stable on this day.
Today, the market has traded more than Rs 5.38 billion. Himalayan Distillery has done the highest turnover.
