Kathmandu. Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) has made a leap in technology. Current fiscal year 2082. In 83 years, NEA made a leap in technology by bringing various systems.
Today, the Finance Committee had called the Insurance Authority for discussion. Chairman Chandra Kala Poudel and Executive Director Sushil Dev Subedi had also reached the committee.
During the discussion, the Insurance Authority informed about the technology brought in the current fiscal year.

- Medical Insurance Management System
- Agent and Surveyor’s Examination Operating System
- ALIS system for issuing and paying insurance in agricultural insurance
- Police reporting system required for insurance claims

The authority has also informed that most of the work is done through the paper system.
