KATHMANDU: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari Yadav has resigned from her post.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Yadav submitted her resignation to Prime Minister Balen Shah on Thursday. Yadav had made a controversial statement saying that the gas industrialists should be tightened. After this, the industrialists objected to her statement and drew the attention of Prime Minister Shah.
Yadav is an elected MP from Mahottari constituency number 4. He was criticized for not being able to supply gas.
