Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah will leave for New York at 7 pm today to attend the United Nations General Assembly. He had recommended to President Ram Chandra Paudel today to hand over the responsibility of acting Prime Minister to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle.
On the basis of the recommendation, President Poudel will appoint Finance Minister Wagle as the acting Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly on September 24. He is scheduled to return home on September 26.
