Kathmandu. Dinesh Amatya, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IME Life Insurance, has resigned from his post on Tuesday.
Amatya had been working at IME Life since the year 2074 BS. He was then associated with IME Life as the Chief Operating Officer.
Amatya was promoted to the post of DCEO of IME Life in the second week of Shrawan 2081. Prior to that, he was working as the Deputy General Manager.
Amatya, who entered the insurance sector from the life insurance business, also got the opportunity to work with the then Surya Life Insurance since its establishment. He worked there from 2065 BS till July 2074. He resigned from the post of Assistant General Manager from Surya Life and joined IME Life as Assistant General Manager.
It is almost certain that Amatya will leave IME Life Insurance and join Himalayan Life Insurance. He is also going to be the DCO of Himalayan Life.
Dr. Amatya has more than two decades of experience in office administration, insurance development, risk assessment, reinsurance, actuarial valuation, claims management, insurance services and more. He completed Master’s Degree in Management from Tribhuvan University.
