Kathmandu. The Bhotekoshi River has been urged to remain alert after the flood increased again since Sunday morning.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) has issued a notice requesting this. The NRA has urged all those involved in search, rescue and relief in the affected areas including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Chitwan to remain alert as the flood level in the Bhotekoshi River has increased further.
Similarly, according to the Flood Forecasting Division, the water level in the Trishuli River in Dhading has increased by 3 meters above the danger level in recent times. The water level in the Trishuli River has increased due to the flood from the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.
The search and rescue operation of those affected by the floods from Tibet on August 23 is underway and all have been asked to remain alert after the floods have increased again.
