Kathmandu. Shaurya Cement Industries Limited has distributed educational materials to more than 400 students of various schools in Karjanha and Mirchaiya municipalities of Siraha as part of its social responsibility.
Students of Shree Basic School, Prayagpur, Shree Janata Primary School, Marebas Shree Sharada Secondary School, Rampur Birtas Shree Janajagriti Primary School, Manathai Kuttis, Shree Janata Basic School, Mahadevas Shree Janata Basic School, Materbas Shree Janata Basic School, Chhaghres Jan Chetna Primary School, Malhaniya Khoris, and Babuji Ray Junai Thakur Secondary School have been benefited from this program.
Under the program, necessary educational materials were distributed to the students and water filters and water laying foundations were also provided to the concerned schools keeping in mind the needs of the schools.
During the distribution of educational materials, the representatives of Shaurya Cement interacted with the mayor, ward chairperson, teachers of the school, representatives of the school management and students of the respective municipalities. During this time, they also inquired about the local educational needs and priorities of the school.
Considering education as an important foundation for the long-term development of the community, Shaurya Cement has been supporting the educational and social development of its area of work and surrounding communities. Through such programs, the company aims to contribute meaningfully to social development by further strengthening the relationship with the local community.
