Kathmandu. Shikhar Insurance has appointed a contact person for an insurance claim for the damage caused by the devastating Bhotekoshi floods of August 10.
The company issued a notice today informing that the contact person has been assigned for the insurance claims registered or yet to be registered with the company. The company said that the concerned insured and stakeholders can contact the concerned for necessary information, facilitation and effective coordination regarding the insurance claim.

Similarly, in case of insurance claims other than Bhotekoshi floods, the company has requested those who have not yet received the required documents for evaluation in respect of the claim applications and claims made from Jestha 16 to August 14, 2083 and those who have not come in contact with the company’s central claims department, provincial office, branch and company surveyor within 21 days.
The company has informed that they will come to collect the claim by submitting the necessary documents by contacting them. The company has said that if the claim is not settled within the stipulated time, the claim file will be closed.
