Kathmandu. The government has recommended the appointment of ambassadors to 13 countries.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Friday recommended the appointment of ambassadors to these countries. The government has recommended the appointment of people who have led in various fields, gained expertise and studied and researched as ambassadors.
Dr Nischal Nath Pandey has been appointed as ambassador to India, Dr Kalyan Raj Sharma has been appointed as ambassador to China, Chiranjung Thapa has been appointed as ambassador to the United States, former Chief of Army Staff Gaurav Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana has been appointed as ambassador to the United Kingdom, Jigyan Kumar Thapa has been appointed as ambassador to Japan, Suresh Kumar Karna has sent his message to Israel, Prapti Sherchan has been appointed as ambassador to Spain, Sharu Joshi has been appointed as ambassador to Germany, Dr Padmakshi Rana has been appointed as ambassador to Oman, Chudamani Kharel has been appointed as ambassador to Malaysia, Prof Dr Sangam Shrestha has been appointed as ambassador to South Korea, Dr Manchal Jha has been appointed as ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
Now the government will send the proposed ambassadors for parliamentary hearings. After the parliamentary hearing is over, the government will send them to the concerned country for advance. After the advance comes, the President will appoint the ambassador to the concerned country.
