Kathmandu. The NEPSE index rose on Tuesday after the Ministry of Finance unveiled an action plan for the reform of the stock market. The Finance Ministry had released the capital market consolidation and revival action plan on Monday. A 21-point policy has been adopted in the action plan.
Today, the NEPSE index rose by 48.57 points to close at 2,633 points. Share prices of 264 companies increased today while share prices of 13 companies declined.
During the day, 2,03,87,000 shares of 347 companies were traded and over Rs 8.29 billion was traded. Reliance Spinning Mills shares were traded the most today. Today, shares of this company were traded worth Rs 32.70 crore. Shares of Shivam Cement were traded at Rs 31.56 crore. Shares of Api Power worth Rs 28.44 crore.
Today, the investors of Dhaulagiri Laghubitta have earned the most. Today, the investors of this company have earned at the rate of 14.96 percent. The investors of Sindhu Bikas Bank have earned at the rate of 11.03 percent. The investors of Multipurpose Finance have earned at the rate of 9.73 percent.
Today, the investors of Everest Bank have lost the most. Today, the investors of Yes Bank have lost at the rate of 5.55 percent.
