Xiaomi Nepal donates Rs 20 lakh to flood victims

Kathmandu. Xiaomi Nepal has provided financial assistance of Rs. 2 million for the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the people affected by the devastating floods and landslides in the Bhotekoshi River of Rasuwa on 10th August 2083.

Xiaomi Nepal has donated the amount to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund with the aim of providing immediate relief and assistance to the people affected by the disaster. Floods and landslides have caused huge loss of life and property in various areas and many families have been affected. Xiaomi Nepal has provided this amount as humanitarian assistance, saying that it is the common responsibility of all to stand with the affected citizens in such a difficult situation.

The amount was handed over to Finance Minister by Mr. Sanjay Agrawal, Executive Director of Ramesh Corp, Mr. Nitesh Kumar Madra, Director of Bustal Impex and Mr. Dinesh Rai, Head of Sales & Distribution of Xiaomi Nepal.

Expressing sympathy to the families and communities affected by the disaster, they pledged to provide support from their side in the government’s efforts for relief, rescue and rehabilitation.

Saying they are responsible for being able to support the affected people at this difficult time of the disaster, Xiaomi Nepal believes that this support will contribute in the relief and rescue works.

Xiaomi Nepal has been supporting the Nepali community in times of happiness and sorrow with a vision of “With Nepal, For Nepal” and pledged to continue contributing to the required support and social responsibility in the days ahead.
