AHZ Associates Nepal and DMH Foundation Bangladesh provide relief to flood victims

Kathmandu. AHZ Associates Nepal and Dr. Mustafa Hazera Foundation (DMH Foundation), Bangladesh have jointly distributed relief to the families affected by the devastating floods in Rasuwa and Nuwakot. Mustafa Hajera Foundation (DMH Foundation), Bangladesh has jointly distributed relief.

The organizations have reached Bidur area of Nuwakot and distributed food and basic necessities to the affected families at a time when the need for relief is increasing after the floods have damaged their homes, food and daily essentials.

In course of the relief distribution, the AHZ Associates Nepal team met with the affected families and took stock of their condition, problems and needs.

The financial support for the campaign was provided by the DMH Foundation, Bangladesh, while AHZ Associates Nepal was responsible for the management and distribution of relief materials and coordination at the local level.

Commenting on the relief operation, DMH Foundation Bangladesh Chairman Captain AKM Golam Kabiria said it was everyone’s shared responsibility to stand with the victims in times of disaster.

He said, “Humanity knows no boundaries. When people are facing hardships and losses, it is important to stand with them rather than where they come from. We are proud to have the opportunity to support the flood-affected families of Nepal. ”

The foundation said the campaign was launched with the guidance and support of its founders and patrons, Zahirul Islam and Golam Murtuza, among others.

The relief campaign was led by Shobin Thapa, Country Manager of AHZ Associates Nepal. Shobin Thapa, Archana Yadav, Sajal Pokharel, Rishabh Singh, Pragya Magar, Dibesh Adhikari, Ambika Giri, Megha Bajracharya and Yogendra Saud participated in the relief team mobilized from the head office in Kathmandu.

The team worked on the management of relief materials, identification, direct distribution of the affected families and necessary coordination at the local level. Country Manager Shobin Thapa said that the relief campaign was not limited to distribution of materials.
