Finance Minister says, ‘Budget has come with 6% economic growth’

Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel has said that the budget for the next fiscal year has been brought with a growth rate of 6 percent.

Finance Minister Poudel said this at a post-budget discussion organized by the Association of Economic Journalists of Nepal (Nafiz) on Saturday. He urged the people to believe that the implementation of the budget would also be positive as the process has come in which the budget brought by the government is positive. “There is a possibility of achieving 6 per cent growth rate as the country has achieved 7.5 per cent growth rate in the past,” he said.

Finance Minister Poudel said that the budget has been prepared following the principles of preparation. “The budget has come by following the limits. The budget has been prepared by managing the resources,” he said, adding, “The revenue estimate is expected to be achieved in the next fiscal year.” When the financial year is coming to an end, there will be no situation to ask questions. ’

Finance Minister Poudel stressed the need for a little effort to collect revenue as per the target. “It cannot be achieved without working,” he said. The goal can be achieved when the work is done. ’

Poudel said that the budget has come to take loans to pay the principal-interest rather than calculating how much the public debt has reached. He urged everyone not to worry about the source.

Finance Minister Poudel said that he was excited as positive suggestions have come from economic experts. He said that it is not possible to show the area to be spent and increase the expenditure. He said that the budget has come in such a way that resources can be mobilized.

Finance Minister Poudel said that kabjet has solved the problem of loading the budget on small schemes. He said the resources should not be misused. He said that the budget is careful in retail schemes.

Poudel said that the economic growth rate and inflation of the last fiscal year and the current fiscal year have been made the basis. “The budget has given a message to the private sector that the government will do everything to be done,” he said. ’

Finance Minister Poudel claimed that the initiative has been taken in a strong way to the young entrepreneurs. “The government is always ready to take the private sector forward,” he said, adding, “The government has also worked to solve the problems of the construction sector.” The government is also ready to make amendments to the act and law. ’

Poudel said the government was ready to facilitate the project as it was the main objective of the government. He said that the thing about going to digital banking is that necessary infrastructure will be built for this purpose. He said the Rastra Bank and the government would work in coordination in this regard. He said that the government’s aim is to take the project transmission lines together.

Finance Minister Poudel said there was a need to use minerals without affecting the environment and this budget has paid attention to it. “Everyone’s cooperation is needed in the implementation of the budget,” he said.
