Insurance Authority increased the remaining amount to be received from the insurer

Kathmandu. Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has been increasing the amount to be received from insurance companies as regulatory fees. fiscal year 2080. At the end of 1981, the amount to be recovered by the NEA has exceeded Rs 1.68 billion.

According to the 62nd annual report of the Office of the Auditor General, the previous fiscal year 2079. At the end of 1980, this amount increased by 3.96 percent from Rs 1.62 billion last year.

The amount includes the remaining regulation fee of Rs 1.61 billion and the outstanding interest income of Rs 65 million.

The Auditor General has suggested that all the service companies should be directed to conduct the audit within six months (i.e. mid-January) of the completion of the financial year as per the provisions of the Insurance Act 2079 BS.
