Kathmandu. Current fiscal year 2081. Only 17.5 per cent of the cases filed with the Nepal Insurance Authority (INSURANCE) have been decided and agreed upon till March 8.
According to the information received from the NRA, only 84 cases have been agreed and decided in the nine months of the current fiscal year. Last year in the current fiscal year 2080. A total of 482 cases were filed, including 81. Out of these, 192 cases were filed in the current fiscal year, three in appeal and 287 in the last fiscal year.
Of these, 63 cases have been decided and 21 have been agreed upon. According to the NRA, 398 cases i.e. 82.5 cases are yet to be finalized.
Last year’s fiscal year also the previous year 2078. A total of 437 cases were filed, including 192 from 79 and 245 cases filed in the same year. Of these, 150 cases were agreed and decided in the last fiscal year, out of which 287 cases were yet to be finalized.
Sharad Ojha had announced to start the judicial bench from April 15 after taking over as the chairman of the NRA. However, due to lack of necessary infrastructure and procedures, the judicial bench has not yet been operated in the AUTHORITY.
