Kathmandu. Damodar Bhandari has been appointed as the acting CEO of Nepal Reinsurance Company (NRI).
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held today appointed Bhandari as the acting CEO effective from today’s committee. He is currently working as the assistant CEO of the company.
The District Attorney’s Office on Thursday filed a corruption case at the Special Court against Nepal Rika CEO Surendra Thapa for his personal suspension. The charge sheet was filed as per Section 22 of the Money Laundering Prevention Act, 2064 and Section 32 of the Civil Prosecution Code, 2074.
The then government had appointed Thapa as the CEO of Nepal Ricoh in May 2, 2081.
