Kathmandu. Aquail, a well-known commercial vehicle manufacturing company of China, has entered Nepal. The brand has recently come to Nepal after Aquin appointed EV Go Nepal Pvt Ltd as the official seller.
Electric microbuses and vans of Aquin, which is one of the best in the commercial vehicle brand, are coming to Nepal. Aquin EV (China) Limited, which has been producing commercial vehicles in China for almost two decades, has recently given priority to electric vehicle production.
Aquel EV China and EV Go Nepal Pvt. Ltd. have signed an exclusive agreement for Nepal. Aquel has been producing an entire lineup of commercial vehicles. It is also producing 11-seater electric vans to large electric buses and electric pickups.
The Aquel brand of electric commercial vehicles is sold in more than 70 countries. Now Aquin’s electric commercial vehicles will be available in Nepal through EV Go Pvt. Ltd.
Managing Director of EV Go Nepal Pvt. Ltd. Anum Kumar Baral said that electric vans and microbuses with 11, 14 and 16 seats capacity of Aquin will initially arrive in Nepal. After the microbuses arrive in Nepal, the company is preparing to bring 19 seats, 25 seats and electric buses larger than 26 seats to Nepal. The company has stated that cargo EV vans, electric pickups, medium-sized electric trucks will be brought according to the demand and needs of the market.
Akwel’s electric vehicle manufacturing plant is located in Fujian province of China and the company’s central office is in Shandong province. Aquel also has its own R&D center, where research and development related to vehicle production takes place.
The main feature of the Aquel brand is the specialty of spare parts along with vehicle production. Compared to other electric commercial vehicle manufacturers in China, the spare parts produced by Aquin have been produced and made available at a lower price.
EV Go Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Aquin, has already started the construction of the service center with the import of electric microbuses and vans. The company, which initially started building a service center in Kathmandu, has said that it will expand the service center in major cities of the country with the sale of Aquin’s microbus. Similarly, the company has already started work on adequate availability of spare parts required for electric microbuses and vans of Aquin.
