Kathmandu. The deadline for applying for the purchase of units of ‘NIC Asia Equity Linked Investment Scheme’ operated under NIC Asia Bank Mutual Fund has been extended.
Arrangements were made to apply for the purchase of units of this mutual fund from August 15. The issue of this scheme was said to be closed at the earliest on September 15. However, as the application has not been received as per the demand, the issue of this scheme will now be closed after the banking time on September 15.
Out of the total 100 million units at a face value of Rs 10, 15 million units have been reserved for seed capital by NIC Asia Bank and out of the remaining 85 million units, 50 million units have been issued to the general public in the first phase.
Under this scheme, investors can apply for a minimum of 100 units and a maximum of 10 million units. For the purchase of the unit, the banks and financial institutions participating in the C-ASWA service approved by the Securities Board of Nepal and their designated branches as well as my share of CDSC can apply.
