Rs 730 million allocated to start-ups at 3% interest rate

Kathmandu. The government is going to provide concessional loans to startups.

Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel made the announcement while presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2020/21 in the joint sitting of parliament today. Poudel informed that such loans will be provided to startups at 3 percent interest rate and a budget of Rs 730 million has been allocated for this purpose.

Poudel has also announced that priority will be given to innovation-based startups targeting the Zen-G generation.
