Kathmandu. South Korean carmaker Hyundai has unveiled the second-generation model of its famous SUV Palisade in the world market. This model is coming with a hybrid powertrain. The company claims that this SUV can travel up to 1,000 km in a full tank.
Palisade has been introduced in a completely new avatar after its excellent performance in the segment. In which the company has made many big changes. Those changes have made it even better.
The Hyundai Palisade Hybrid features the brand’s new chunky design language. This 3-Ro SUV is about 2.5 inches longer than the previous model. It will go on sale in the US later this year with a very new design and two new powertrain options.
Hyundai has experimented a lot in design and the Palisade has bold LED daytime running lights. which dominates the flat, vertical grille. Although hyundai’s front is wide, the active airflow shutter at the bottom is claimed to improve its air speed.
The front of the palisade looks very large and impressive. It is given a good crease line at most. Which gives muscular stance to the SUV. Apart from this, plastic cladding of black and silver covers the SUV from the bottom to all sides. Which makes its look even more sporty.
Every effort has been made to make the cabin of this SUV premium and luxury. Its horizontal layout has a 12.3-inch dual-curvy display. Hyundai offers 3-Roka with twin-door center stack, cooled wireless charging, and a 100W USB Type-C port.
Apart from this, a 15 W wireless charging pad is also available. With the help of which the smartphone can be easily charged. The company has also provided armrest when added to the center console. Which is designed to provide comfort to both the driver and the helper. Storage space is also available inside this armrest.
The new palisade has a standard seating facility for eight passengers. But the flexibility of the Captain Chair further expands the cabin space. It can be adjusted to a large extent in the front driving and co-driving seat as needed.
Hyundai Palisade has been introduced with a hybrid powertrain for the first time. These include a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four engine and two electric motors. This engine produces 262 bhp of power. With both electric motors, this power output increases to 329 bhp. The special thing is that the company has introduced it in both hybrid and nonhybrid variants.
There are 10 airbags in this SUV for safety. Apart from this, features like factory dash cam, full digital rearview mirror, UV-C sanitizing console and 3-row seatbelt pre-tensioner driver-assistant make the safety of the passengers better in this SUV.
The initial price of this SUV is estimated to be $ 48,000. While hybrid calligraphy can cost around $58,000.
The new Hyundai Palisade Hybrid will be assembled in Ulsan, South Korea. The V-6-powered palisade model is expected to be introduced earlier. While the company will introduce the hybrid variant later.
