Kathmandu. Today is the last day to secure the dividend of Siddhartha Premier Insurance. The company has decided to close the book on January 18 for the purpose of dividend and meeting. This means that only shareholders who have remained in the company as of January 17 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting.
The company has decided to hold its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 12. The meeting will begin at 11:00 am at the Rani Mahal Banquet in Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu.
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The company will approve a cash dividend of 25 percent of the current paid-up capital (including tax). As per the current paid-up capital of Rs 2,80,65,49,900, the company will distribute a total dividend of Rs 70,16,37,475.
The meeting shall also pass a special resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to record the Memorandum of Association or any suggestion or direction received from the approving body. The meeting will pass a proposal to add the provision of ‘(g) to operate or cause to be operated by a collective investment fund scheme’ under the objectives of Section 3 of the Memorandum of Association of the company.
The meeting approved the annual and auditor’s report of the last fiscal year and the current fiscal year 2082. 83. Approve the proposal relating to the appointment of the auditor and the determination of his/her remuneration.
