Kathmandu. MetLife Nepal has contributed Rs 2.5 million to the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund established by the government as part of its corporate social responsibility to support the reconstruction, economic recovery and relief of physical structures damaged during the protests of September 7 and 24.
MetLife Nepal’s Executive Director Nirmalkaji Shrestha informed Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal about the amount deposited in the fund today. On the occasion, Finance Minister Khanal thanked MetLife Nepal for its contribution to the fund.
According to the Ministry of Finance, Rs 12,33,65,000 has been deposited in the fund till date.
