Kathmandu. Bhutan’s left-arm spinner Soman Yeshi has created history by taking 8 wickets in T20 matches against Myanmar. He became the only bowler in the world to take 8 wickets in T20.
The 22-year-old Soman gave away just 7 runs in his 4 overs and completely demolished Myanmar’s top order. Batting first, Bhutan set a target of 127 runs but Myanmar was all out for 45 runs.
With this, Bhutan won the five-match T20 series 5-0. Soman Yeshi took a total of 13 wickets in the series.
According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), a total of 6 bowlers have taken 7 wickets in T20 matches so far. Of these, 2 are male players and 4 are female players.
