Kathmandu. Small Non-Life Insurer has brought in a business of over Rs 7.25 crore in the current fiscal year 2083. In the first month of ’84, it has brought in a business of over Rs 7.25 crore.
According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) today, four micro non-life insurers have brought in a business of over Rs 7.31 crore. During the review period, these companies have issued 25,008 insurance policies.
Among the micro life insurers, Protective Micro Insurance is one of the biggest business attributors. The company issued 7,230 insurance policies in July and collected a total insurance premium of Rs 2.26 crore.
Nepal Micro Insurance is in second place. The company has sold 5,993 insurance policies and collected a total premium of Rs 1.78 crore.
Similarly, Star Micro Insurance has earned a total of Rs 1.76 crore in insurance policy by issuing 6,595 policies and Trust Micro Insurance has earned Rs 1.49 crore by issuing 5,190 policies.
