Kathmandu. Goma Shrestha, who is studying at a brick kiln, has secured 4 GPA in this year’s SEE. The story of his struggle is now being discussed everywhere.
Goma of Khaniyapani of Ramechhap has been highly honored by Bhatbhateni Super Market for her hard work and achieving excellent results in SEE. Bhatbhateni President Min Bahadur Gurung and his wife Savitri Gurung have called goma to the office today and pledged to pay for all the expenses up to MBBS.
The Gurung couple also handed over a cash prize of Rs 100,000, a laptop and a letter of honour to Goma. “At Bhatbhateni, we believe in supporting the youth who can dream,” Gurung said, adding, “This journey of Goma has just begun and we will be together with pride.” ’
Goma has been studying at a brick kiln at Suda of Changunarayan Municipality in Bhaktapur. She participated in the SEE in 2081 from Mahendragram Secondary School in Sudal.
Goma has been successful in becoming a doctor since childhood.
