Kathmandu. Zurich Resilience Solutions, a part of Zurich Insurance, has launched a dedicated data center risk advisory exercise by bringing together more than 100 expert risk engineers.
The team will support customers throughout the entire data center lifecycle, from planning and construction to operation, and build on Zurich’s recently launched Data Center Project Guard solution. This makes the risk cover of builders favorable to data center projects.
Data center spending increased by 92 percent annually to $32.9 billion in November 2025, and global investment is expected to reach $6.7 trillion by 2030.
As more features are built to support cloud computing and AI, operators are facing construction delays, downtime, security incidents, and severe weather. This is increasing the demand for special risk engineering. –agency
