Kathmandu. Xiaomi Nepal has donated 200 sets of essential household items to help the families affected by floods and landslides. Under ‘Xiaomi for Community’, 200 sets of relief materials have been handed over to Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, Ishwar Raj Poudel.
With an aim to ease the daily life of the families affected by the recent devastating floods and landslides, Xiaomi Nepal has provided 200 sets of relief materials including kitchen appliances.
Each relief set consists of 1 pressure cooker, 1 karai, 5 plates, 5 spoons, 6 cups, 5 bowls and 1 thermos bottle. In this way, 200 sets have provided household items for daily cooking and food for the flood-affected families.
The 200 sets contain 200 pressure cookers, 200 karais, 1,000 plates, 1,000 spoons, 1,200 cups, 1,000 bowls and 200 thermos bottles.
With the spirit of “Helping hand in rebuilding daily life”, Xiaomi Nepal believes that this support will provide some relief and ease to the families affected by floods and landslides as they return to normal life.
Earlier, Xiaomi Nepal had donated Rs 20 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the people affected by the devastating floods and landslides in the Bhotekoshi River. With the distribution of relief materials, Xiaomi Nepal has continued its efforts to help the communities affected by floods and landslides in their immediate needs.
Xiaomi Nepal, as a part of its social responsibility, has been continuously supporting the relief, rescue and rehabilitation efforts as part of its social responsibility, expressing solidarity with the affected communities in this difficult time of disaster.
