Kathmandu. The stock market fell sharply on Wednesday. The NEPSE index decreased by 1.64 points to close at 2711.22.
The NEPSE sub-group group has increased while 5 sub-groups have fallen. On the day, the mutual fund group increased the most by 0.80 percent, while the production and processing group fell the most by 0.56 percent.
Shares of 104 companies increased and 149 companies declined. Shares of 15 companies remained stable on the day.
The market was traded worth more than Rs 3.19 billion today. Solu Hydropower Company has been traded the most.
