Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Thursday. The NEPSE index closed 17.01 points lower at 2787.15 points.
The NEPSE sub-group saw a rise of 3 per cent while 10 groups declined. The production and processing group was the top gainer on the day, while the hotel and tourism group fell by 1.42 per cent.
On this day, the share prices of 46 companies increased and the share prices of 216 companies decreased. On this day, the prices of 7 companies remained stable.
Today, the market has traded more than Rs 5.09 billion. Reliance Spinning Mills has the highest turnover on this day.
