Kathmandu. The stock market rose by a margin today. The NEPSE index closed 2.31 points higher at 2574.65.
Eight groups in the NEPSE sub-group have increased while five groups have fallen. The production and processing group has increased by 0.73 percent while the other groups have decreased by 0.44 percent.
Today, the share prices of 140 companies have increased in the market while the share prices of 127 companies have decreased. The share prices of 11 companies have remained stable on this day.
The market has been traded at Rs 3.93 billion today. Ghalemdi Hydro has the highest turnover.
