Kathmandu. The 9.98 MW Upper Mai Hydropower Project, operated by the Panchakanyamai Hydropower Company, has come into operation. Due to excessive water leakage in the expansion joint of this project, the tunnel had to be completely emptied for maintenance, due to which the production of electricity was stopped from the evening of September 7.
After repairing the problem, the 9.98 MW Upper Mai Hydropower Project has come into operation from October 30.
