Kathmandu. Ting Ting, a Nepali AI company, has achieved a historic success by participating in the world’s most influential technology conference ‘Web Summit Qatar 2026’. Ting Ting participated as the only representative startup from Nepal in the four-day conference held in Doha, Qatar on February 4.
Web Summit is the largest gathering of technology experts and investors from around the world, where there is fierce competition among thousands of global companies to participate. Ting Ting’s selection at the summit, which saw participation from more than 1,600 startups from 120 countries, was a great achievement in itself. Ting Ting has secured its place in this forum due to its ‘Riri’ engine built in Nepal and the state-of-the-art local language understanding system.
“Made in Nepal, with the mantra ‘For the World’, Ting Ting has already proved itself in the domestic market before reaching the world stage. This technology, which has been ‘battle tested’ by successfully managing the communication systems of Nepal’s big banks, internet service providers and government agencies, is now expanding in the global market.

In a presentation to influential investors and technology experts around the world, Angelica began how the AI technology developed in Nepal is helping large organizations gain a deeper understanding of their customers.
During the conference, Ting Ting’s team held important discussions with various international investors and tech giants for meaningful dialogue and new partnerships.
