Kathmandu. Surya Jyoti Life Insurance Company has called its 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today.
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on Sunday decided to hold the AGM on January 14. The meeting will begin at 10:30 am at Hotel Harrison Palace in Biratnagar.
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The government will approve a cash dividend of Rs 651,53,213.67 of the current paid-up capital of Rs 5.01 billion. The meeting approved the annual and auditor’s report of the last fiscal year and the current fiscal year 2082. 83. Approve the proposal relating to the appointment of the auditor and the determination of his/her remuneration.
The meeting shall approve the expenses incurred by the company under its corporate social responsibility in the last fiscal year pursuant to Section 105 (1) (c) of the Companies Act.
The company has decided to close the book on January 18 for the purpose of dividend and meeting. This means that only the shareholders who have been in the company before January 18 will be eligible to receive the dividend and attend the meeting.
