Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower for the third day of the week. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 0.53 points to close at 2,644 points. Today, the share prices of 125 companies have increased while the prices of 119 companies have fallen.
A total of 10,810,106 units of shares of 324 companies were traded and Rs 4.48 billion was traded today. Shares of Union Hydropower Company Ltd were the most traded today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 31.81 crore were traded. Shares of Mountain Energy were traded worth Rs 22.94 crore. Shares of Ngadi Group Power worth Rs 16.16 crore were traded.
The investors of Sagar Distillery, Swastik Laghubitta, Jhapa Energy, Mabilung Energy, Bungal Hydropower and Srinagar earned the most today. Investors of five companies have gained 10 percent today.
Today, investors in green ventures have lost the most. Investors in the company lost 9.85 percent today.
