Kathmandu. Shares of Mount Everest Power Development Ltd. will be traded in the secondary market from Wednesday.
The initial public offering (IPO) of Mount Everest Power Limited (MSP) has been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) today. The IPO of any company starts trading from the second day of its listing. Accordingly, the company’s shares will be traded from tomorrow.
A total of 8.6 million units of shares of Mount Everest Power have been listed on NEPSE. Out of the total offered shares, the general public has 25,80,000 units (30%) and the promoter has 60.20 million units (70%).
For the first transaction, NEPSE has fixed a minimum of Rs 100 to a maximum of Rs 300 per share. The trading signal is that the company has received ‘MEPDL’.
Now, in the special presession on Friday, the shares of the company will be traded for the regular session if it is traded within the range set by NEPSE.
Mount Everest Power had opened its IPO to the general public from June 17 to June 22. The IPO was allotted on July 19.
