Kathmandu. The remittance inflow has increased by 31.4 per cent in the first four months of the current fiscal year 2082/83. According to the data published by Nepal Rastra Bank today, the remittance inflow reached Rs 687.13 billion. The remittance inflow had grown by 9.4 per cent in the same period of the previous year.
In the month of Kartik 2082, the remittance inflow was Rs. 133.82 billion. In the same month of the previous year, the remittance inflow was Rs. 114.31 billion. In the review period, the remittance inflow in US Dollars increased by 25.3 per cent and reached to Rs 4.88 billion. The remittance inflow had grown by 8.2 per cent the year before that.
During the review period, the second income (self-transfer) was Rs. 754.93 billion. Such income had been Rs.569.29 billion in the same period of the previous year.
